Fiery Peak Glampsite

Fiery Peak Glampsite: coming soon – this the summer of 2023/2 our new Fiery Peak campsite.

We are busy renovating a house bus for a private couples’s accommodation set on the edge the forest,

with mountain views, fresh water spring plunge pool,

firepit, hot tub baths under the stars, queen bed bus with kitchenette and bathroom.

It will be a unique experience and one of the few places you will find that is off-grid, eco-friendly & wifi free.

The Space

Fiery Peak Eco-cottage is located on an elevated terrace on our 12 acres property in Pleasant Valley: a short 10 min drive from Geraldine, or 5 mins off HW 79 (if coming from Tekapo/ Mt Cook). Access off Pleasant Valley Road at 662 onto our property, over a stream, through trees up to the terrace will bring you to the cottage with a stunning backdrop of mountains.
If we know your arrival time, you will be greeted in the cottage by music, fairy & firelight (if cold or dark).
If you wish to book the hot bath, it can be booked as an extra
We will fill the tub with fresh spring water and heat ready for your arrival.

Rural walks on quiet country roads, a telescope for viewing the night sky, or just sit on the deck and watch the clouds drift across the mountains and forget your worries and the world for a night or two,
games, puzzles, and books all provided in the cottage.

CATERING
Complimentary organic teas and coffee, juice, and milk are provided for your arrival. The cottage is self-catering so please bring your own food supplies for the duration of your stay. Alternatively, pop into Geraldine to stock up for cooking or BBQing. If you like to dine out there are some lovely restaurants & cafes to choose from. Alternatively grab a takeaway: cooked chicken, a selection of salads, bottle of wine from the local supermarket or check out the takeaways available at Royal India, Q Foods, Foodies, Thai or good ole kiwi fish, and chips.

Guests say that a clear night sky at Fiery Peak is as rewarding as viewing the dark sky at Tekapo. With the telescope provided, you can check out the stars from the deck or lie out on the grass to take it all in with your eyes.

BBQ
We have a Weber BBQ for guests to use. It is just gorgeous sitting outside enjoying the evening, cooking, wining, and dining with the backdrop of the mountains.

LATE CHECK-OUT
At Fiery Peak you can take your time on your departure day if your schedule allows.
Wake up, relax, & enjoy your morning coffee in the hot tub before heading away. Check out anytime until noon.
